The AFHS is the official representative of the Royal Society “The Friesian Horse Studbook”, Koninklijke Vereniging Het Friesch Paarden Stamboek (KFPS), based in the Netherlands. The KFPS is recognised as the World Wide Studbook and an authority on the Friesian horse.
The AFHS was established in 1983, and celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2023.
If you are new to the breed, we invite you to explore the wonderful world of the Friesian in Australia. If you are a current member of the AFHS, you will find the 'Members Only' section of this site filled with news, information, forms, documents and much more at your disposal.
